10th Annual Night of Hope
The 10th Annual Night of Hope is one of Houston’s largest Watch Night crossover services, founded by the late Pastor Marvin Delaney and Larry D. Smith, Executive Director and Minister of Worship Arts. Created as a safe and uplifting New Year’s Eve alternative, the event features powerful preaching, dynamic praise and worship, and meaningful community fellowship. Food is served following the service, continuing its mission of faith, hope, and service to the community.
Back Down Memory Lane
Founded in 2016, Night of Hope began with a vision—and years later, it stands as one of Houston’s most impactful Watch Night crossover services, continuing its mission of faith, worship, and community uplift.
What to Expect
Doors will open at 6:00 PM for guest arrival and a welcome reception. The service will begin promptly at 7:00 PM with an uplifting worship experience and a powerful Word as we prepare to cross over into the New Year together. The service will conclude at approximately 9:30 PM.
Transportation for Seniors
We are excited to offer complimentary transportation for seniors within a 7-mile radius, with pick-up available from participating senior living apartment communities.
New Year’s Eve Dinner Served Afterward
Celebrate with us as a delicious, traditional New Year’s Eve dinner will be served following the service!
